70th Anniversery of the William Pierce Frye Sinking

The 29th day of March at 23:36 hundred hours will mark the sinking of the William Pierce Frye 70 years ago; I will say a prayer for the men lost that day at that time.  On that day at 12:30 hours in the afternoon I will raise my bottle of beer in memory of the men that served on this ship and my hope is that you will too.  For the Nephews, Nieces, and grandchildren left behind, I salute you; Gannon McHale, Bill Barrett, Alan Poore, Holly, and Irene Clough Hahn.  “Fair Winds and Following Seas”
